Jewelweed Preparations

Organic Jewelweed is the key ingredient used in our Stop Itch Bar. Jewelweed is most commonly known for its antipruritic, which is also known as anti-itch or inhibiting the itching (Latin: pruritus) often associated with sunburns, allergic reactions, eczema, psoriasis,chickenpox, fungal infections, insect bites and stings like those from mosquitoes, fleas, and mites, and contact dermatitis and urticaria caused by plants such as poison ivy(urushiol-induced contact dermatitis) or stinging nettle.

Handpicked, dried jewelweed is combined with other skin beneficial herbs which are placed in a solar infusion for several weeks before the process of soap batching.
